What Is The Resident Council?

Every resident is a member of the Treyton Oak Towers Resident Council, which meets in the Oak Room at 10 a.m. the first Monday of every month unless otherwise posted. The Resident Board is comprised of Resident Council officers, Floor Representatives, and Committee Chairpersons.

The purpose of the Council is:

  • To communicate the interests of the residents;
  • To promote an understanding of administrative policies and procedures among residents;
  • To encourage participation in resident activities.

The Resident Council elects a President, who is the spokesperson for the group, as well as a Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The Council establishes its own meeting schedules and prepares its own agenda. Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend monthly Resident Council meetings, and to have an active voice in their Council.

We believe in supporting and listening to our resident community. The Treyton Oak Towers Resident Council helps ensure residents voices and needs are properly heard and addressed. The Resident Council also helps encourage a further sense of community and strengthens bonds among our residents.
