-Article shared from Treyton Oak Towers, August 23, 2022

Treyton Oak Towers came in first place this morning in the 2022 KAHCF / KCAL Culinary Competition, an annual competition which takes place every year for senior living facilities throughout the state of Kentucky.
Participants in the competition had to create and prepare recipes using ingredients from a mystery box, provided by Sandridge Food Corporation. Each team was required to prepare one entrée, one side, one salad and a dessert for a total of four items to present to the committee. The competition was virtual and documented with photos and videos.
Each presentation was judged by culinary experts Chris Willet, Culinary Specialist for GFS and Keith Amos, Culinary Chef for Sandridge Food Corporation. Also judging the competition was Rayona Baker, Business Solutions Specialist for GFS and Tim Copeland Purchasing Consultant KY-IN for HPSI. Teams from all over Kentucky were judged on their creativity, appetite appeal and presentation.

Treyton Oak Towers will be receiving a complimentary registration to the KAHCF / KCAL Annual Meeting & Expo taking place at the Galt House on November 17th.
